B.C. report cites deaths of Natives in police custody

Since 1971, 19 Native people have died in police custody, according to a new report from the Native Courtworkers and Counselling Association of British Columbia.

The report is the first of its kind in the province. In the past three years alone, five Native men have died in police supervision.
