With little to go on besides his campaign statements, some California tribal leaders fear what Arnold Schwarzenegger will do as governor.

Concerns center on Schwarzenegger's views on Indian gaming. For small tribes, casinos have been important, and any changes to their agreements with the state could prove negative.

For those seeking casinos, whoever is in charge will have a great impact. The Lytton Band of Pomo Indians wants to open a facility in the Bay Area but needs a compact with the governor first.

Schwarzenegger said he wants to renegotiate gaming compacts to increase the state's share of casino revenues.
