Narragansett Tribe starts seafood company

The Narragansett Tribe of Rhode Island has started a wholesale seafood company. Narragansett Tribal Seafood Co-op will sell lobster, flounder and other seafood to tribes, restaurants and businesses. Orders can be placed through a web site the tribe is setting up. Chief Sachem Matthew Thomas made the announcement of the business at the annual meeting of the United South and Eastern Tribes (USET) conference yesterday.
