Hadassah Lieberman, wife of Democrat presidential candidate Sen. Joe Lieberman (D-Conn.), visited the Citizen Potawatomi Nation's child care center on Thursday.

The Shawnee News-Star said the visit lasted 45 minutes. She played with children and spoke about the need for reliable and affordable child care.

The tribe is building a new child care facility, which Lieberman also toured.
