Tribal member arrested in slaying of athlete

A member of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community of Arizona surrendered to tribal police in connection with the slaying of Cincinnati Reds outfielder Dernell Stenson.

David Griffith, 20, is one of four people who have been arrested. He was booked on tribal charges of stealing Stenson's vehicle and will remain in tribal custody until extradited to local law enforcement.

Kevin Riddle, 43, and his half-brother, Reginald Riddle, 19, were arrested and are being held on a variety of charges. The younger Riddle faces a homicide charge. Robert Lee Maye, 32, was arrested yesterday.
