Alaska village dedicates new community hall

The Native village of Minto dedicated a new community hall October 31.

The village obtained a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture for the $705,000 structure, adding its own money, labor and equipment. The 7,000-square-foot building is located on the village's old potlatch site.
