Robert Mirabal was named artist of the year at the sixth annual Native American Music Awards on Saturday night.

Mirabal, from Taos Pueblo in New Mexico, took the honor for his latest release "Indians, Indians." It was the second time he won the award.

The NAMMYs were held at the Isleta Pueblo casino near Albuquerque. Awards were presented in 26 categories.
