Okla. museum holding Native language fair, contest

The Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History in Norman is holding the second annual Native American Youth Language Fair and Poster Contest on April 19, 2004.

The inaugural event drew more than 200 students and teachers. The museum is expecting to double the number of attendees next year.

The fair is open to students of Native languages. Students of all ages can participate in the language competition by presenting song, poetry, stories, drama and dance. The poster contest is open to students in grades 3 through 12.
