Kickapoo chairman still in office despite recall

The chairman of the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma remains in office pending certification of his recall on Saturday. But the elections board appears unwilling to certify the results. A tribal member has asked the tribal court to force the board members to act. Kickapoos for Honest Government accuses chairman Tony Salazar of conflict of interest, embezzling and other charges, which Salazar denies. Get the Story:
