Army Secretary and former Enron executive Thomas E. White will testify on his knowledge of the company's role in California's energy crisis.

White was summoned by a Senate Commerce subcommittee to provide any information. He was vice chairman of Enron Energy Services, an energy trading unit which is part of an investigation by federal regulators.

White has said he would leave his job if his former post became a liability.
