The Southern Ute Tribe of Colorado on Wednesday joined other partners of Enron in asking a federal bankruptcy judge to remove a legal firm tied to the failed company.

The tribe and more than 20 Texas investors say Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy should not provide legal advice to an Enron creditors committee due to conflicts of interest. Milbank attorneys dismissed the charges as ludicrous.
