MONDAY, MAY 20, 2002 An independent review board has recommended against funding a salmon restoration project of the Colville Tribes and a Washington irrigation district. The Independent Scientific Review Panel said the project would do little to help spring chinook runs. The board made its recommendation to the Northwest Power Planning Council, which has provided money in the past for salmon efforts. Get the Story:
