A White Man says Indians are proud of the name "Redskins," according to John McCaslin of The Washington Times.

In his "Inside the Beltway" column, McCaslin recounts a recent trip by Hugh C. Newton to the Navajo Nation. On the trip, Newton ran into a school called Red Mesa High School, whose mascot is the Redskins.

"Several Indians I talked to said they were proud of the name," Newton said.
