Indian retailers and the Seneca Nation of New York are challenging recent seizures of cigarettes bound for the reservation.

The tribe passed a resolution calling on Gov. George Pataki (R) to put an end to the raids, which have hauled in at least $300,000. Some Seneca retailers have filed court challenges.
