BIA approves tribal-state gaming compacts

FRIDAY, MAY 31, 2002 Assistant Secretary Neal McCaleb has approved two tribal-state Class III gaming compacts. Two separate Federal Register notices published today announce the decisions. McCaleb approved a renewal of an agreement between the Northern Cheyenne Tribe and the state of Montana. He also approved an amendment to the compact between the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe and the state of South Dakota. Get the Notices:
