Details are sketchy but a version of a controversial book questioning the heritage of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut might be headed for a television or movie screen.

A company called Susan Rose Production bought the rights to "Without Reservation," written by Jeff Benedict, a candidate for Congress. Howard Korder, a screenwriter, is interviewing some of the characters in the book for potential development.

But don't count on Benedict's campaign manager to be in the project, or at least not for long. Dale Fegel Jr. quit his job due to lack of money and a disagreement on how the race should be run.
