Federal agencies are fighting over water in the Klamath Basin of Oregon and California.

The Bureau of Reclamation is disputing a biological opinion which requires water be used for endangered and threatened fish. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Marine Fisheries Service said the Klamath project jeopardized the species.

The fish are considered sacred by local tribes.
