A gubernatorial candidate in Nebraska signed a petition to expand gaming in the state but stopped short of saying he would vote for the measure if it appears on the November ballot.

Stormy Dean endorsed a petition which would allow video gambling machines in Nebraska bars and racetracks. The move would clear the way for tribes in the state to offer Class III games, which are currently outlawed.
