Mohegan Tribe celebrates in style

MONDAY, JUNE 24, 2002

Hundreds of celebrities, politicians and well-wishers helped the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut celebrate the completion of a $1.1 billion casino expansion.

Former President Bill Clinton, Cher, Dan Akroyd, Tom Cruise, Julia Roberts, Rosie O'Donnell and countless others joined tribal and casino officials at the Mohegan Sun over the weekend. The facility has expanded its gaming, lodging, retail and meeting space.
