Chickasaw Nation pays $4.5M for ranch

The Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma has purchased a 4,300-acre ranch, doubling its land holdings.

The tribe doesn't have immediate plans to have the land taken into trust. The ranch was bought for $4.5 million, according to records examined by The Daily Oklahoman.
