The Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma has secured federal funding for a number of projects.

The tribe will build a $19 million Indian health center by the end of 2003. Money for the 67,000-square-foot center will come from the Indian Health Service and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

The tribe also has separate plans for a small power plant, a travel plaza and possibly a gaming center.
