Members of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee on Wednesday suggested ways to combat health problems affecting Native elders.

Sen. Daniel Inouye (D-Hawaii), committee chairman, said more federal funding is needed. Sen. Ben Nighthorse Campbell (R-Colo.), the vice-chairman, said economic stimulus on reservations would help curb poor health care.
