MONDAY, JULY 15, 2002 The Crow Nation of Montana recently honored Tommy Whiteman, the tribe's first professional athlete. Whiteman plays shortstop for the Lexington Legends of Kentucky. He was drafted in 2000 from the University of Oklahoma. Whiteman grew up with his grandparents on the reservation and his family in Oklahoma. He also has Kiowa and Cherokee heritage. Get the Story:
