Conn. casinos report slot machine gains

TUESDAY, JULY 16, 2002 Connecticut's two tribes reported gains in slot machine revenues for the month of June. The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation took in a record $66.1 million win. The Mohegan Tribe held $61.6 million. Both were increases from June 2001 but down from May 2002. The tribe's contributed $30.8 million to the state, or 25 percent of slot machine revenues.
