Judge rules Apache land is not Indian Country

Land owned by the Apache Tribe of Oklahoma is not Indian Country, a federal judge ruled on Monday.

U.S. District Judge David Russell's decision allows state prosecution of five tribal employees. The employees were arrested for working at a casino operation the state considers illegal.
