THURSDAY, AUGUST 1, 2002 The ninth annual Association of Interior Native Educators conference began in Alaska on Wednesday. Elders participated in discussions with teachers at the Chena River Convention Center yesterday. They spoke about the Elder's Academy, which was a cultural immersion program for teachers.
