Candidates file for Native-heavy district

Five Democratic candidates filed papers this week for a 90 percent Native district in a Montana county.

The district was created by a federal judge who determined that Native voting rights were being restricted.

The district is in Blaine County, which encompasses the Fort Belknap Reservation.
