Conn. tribe would settle land claim

The Golden Hill Paugussett Tribe is willing to settle its land claims with the state of Connecticut for a casino.

The tribe has to gain federal recognition first. The Bureau of Indian Affairs during the Clinton administration denied acknowledgment three times before an official ordered a reconsideration.
