Cobell to meet with Okla. account holders

THURSDAY, AUGUST 15, 2002

Elouise Cobell, the lead plaintiff in the Individual Indian Money (IIM) lawsuit, is meeting with account holders in Oklahoma next week.

Three meetings in eastern Oklahoma are scheduled. The Quapaw Tribe, the Osage Nation and other tribes are hosting Cobell in order to update tribal members on the status of the landmark case and hear their concerns.
