Forum on Hopi water scheduled

TUESDAY, AUGUST 20, 2002 The Black Mesa Trust is holding a forum next month to discuss water issues affecting the Hopi Tribe of Arizona. The tribe will give various presentations on water conservation. A major focus is mining activities that affect the tribe's historic water source. The forum takes place September 20 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Hopi Veterans Memorial Center on the Hopi Reservation. A reception in Flagstaff at the Museum of Northern Arizona will follow from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Get the Story:
