TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2002 It's not American Idol, the popular television show that has made pop stars out of unknowns, but the Four Directions Talent Search is doing its part, organizers say. Sponsored by the Oneida Nation and NBC, the talent search is making 15 stops across the nation in order to find talented Native Americans. Winners have a chance to appear before network executives but contracts, jobs and other perks aren't guaranteed. The talent search was launched last year. Get the Story:
