Cuomo drops out of N.Y. race

Andrew Cuomo, former head of the Department of Housing and Labor during the Clinton administration, dropped out of the running for governor of New York on Tuesday.

Cuomo gave his support to Democrat rival H. Carl McCall, the state comptroller. McCall is African-American.

McCall wants the state to start collecting taxes on the sale of cigarettes and gasoline in Indian Country.
