N.D. tribes focus on economic development

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2002 The United Tribes Intertribal Council held its sixth annual summit at the United Tribes Technical College in North Dakota. The theme of the conference was preparing tribal work forces for economic development. Tribal leaders and Gov. John Hoeven promoted opportunities on and off the reservation. The council represents tribes from North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming. Get the Story:
