TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2002 A federal judge in California rejected a lawsuit challenging one of the Bush administration's first land-into-trust decisions. The Bureau of Indian Affairs agreed to take 49 acres of land into trust for the United Auburn Indian Community. The tribe, located near Sacramento, wants to build a casino. Get the Story:
