TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2002 Members of the Chumash Tribe of California are opposing a gun shooting range near a sacred site. The Winchester Canyon Gun Club wants a U.S. Forest Service permit renewed for another 10 years. The tribal members say the range is too close to sacred rock art. Get the Story:
