Navajo president tours flood damage

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2002 Navajo Nation President Kelsey Begaye toured reservation communities hit hard by heavy rain and floods. Begaye visited Shiprock, New Mexico; and Tuba City, Arizona. Homes suffered major damage and one family's burial plot. Begaye brought along reporters on the tribe's plane, The Farmington Daily-Times reported. Get the Story:
