THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2002 A 17-year-old member of the Tohono O'odham Nation of Arizona is the top ranked student in his senior class. Antonio Benavidez is set to become his school's first Native valedictorian. He excels in math, algebra and calculus. Benavidez is the "Student of the Week" at The Arizona Daily Star and a local television station. Get the Story:
