MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2002

The Wind River Tribal College on the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming wants to join the American Indian Higher Education Consortium.

The college's application is being evaluated. A site visitation team from the consortium met with tribal leaders and education officials on the reservation. A vote on the application is set for October 30.

The Wind River Reservation is home to the Eastern Shoshone Tribe and the Northern Arapaho Tribe.
