MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2002 The Environmental Protection Agency will release a draft report on pollution in the upper Columbia River basin in response to a tribal request. The Confederated Colville Tribes of Washington are worried about left-over mining waste. Preliminary data show copper, lead and zinc in the river sediment. Get the Story:
