Obituary: Darrow Apache chairwoman

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2002 Ruey Haozous Darrow, chairwoman of the Fort Sill Chiricahua / Warm Springs Apache Tribe of Oklahoma, died this past Monday at the age of 76. Darrow was the first Native American Medical Technologist. She obtained her master's degree in the field of microbiology. Funeral services will be held tomorrow. Get the Story:
