Utah panel tries to decide on remains

MONDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2002 After years of never having a quorum, the Utah Native American Remains Review Committee is finally meeting to decide how to handle and repatriate remains to the state's tribes. That doesn't mean the panel doesn't have other problems. Lack of data, relevant information and funding hinder efforts. The committee is organized under the state's own Native American Grave Protection and Repatriation Act. Get the Story:
