Wyo. tribal council leadership ousted

MONDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2002 Voters of the Eastern Shoshone Tribe of Wyoming have elected an entirely new council. The six seats were all taken by newcomers. Three incumbents lost Tuesday's election. The tribe resides on the Wind River Reservation with the Northern Arapaho Tribe. Each is its own sovereign government. Get the Story:
