Wis. tribe reaches emergency agreement

The St. Croix Ojibwe Tribe of Wisconsin has reached an agreement with the state and two counties on emergency response planning.

The agreement focuses on the storage of hazardous materials on tribal lands. It is the first in the state under a federal law that requires governments to prepare plans.
