Lakota ceremony for Vietnam Vets memorial

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2002 A member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe of South Dakota will perform a Lakota ceremony at the 20-year anniversary of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C. Francis Whitebird, a Vietnam veteran, has performed ceremonies at the memorial site twice in the past. This week's event will take place on Thursday. Get the Story:
