Norton 'ignoring' critical memo

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2002 Secretary of Interior Gale Norton is "ignoring" an anonymous memo calling for an investigation into one of her aides, a spokesperson told The Denver Post. The memo criticizes National Park Service chief Fran Mainella for making changes in staffing. It was apparently written by the service's National Leadership Council, the paper reports. Get the Story:
