Osage Nation signs drilling agreement

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2002 The Osage Nation of Oklahoma has signed a drilling agreement to develop 212,000 acres of the tribe's mineral estate. The tribe chose Presco Inc. of Texas to drill coalbed methane wells. The agreement contains mitigation provisions, timely sharing of information and funnels money to an arts and cultural program.
