Obituary: Jones First Native bishop

The Reverend Harold Jones, the first Native American bishop, died in Arizona on Tuesday. He was 92.

Jones started his career on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. He went on to serve other reservations and communities before becoming bishop in 1972. He retired in 1976 due to health problems.
