Washoe Tribe to receive land at lake

The Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California would receive 24 acres of land at Lake Tahoe under a bill near final Congressional approval.

The Senate on Wednesday approved the exchange. The bill prohibits commercial, residential or recreational development.
