There are 34 gangs on the Tohono O'odham Nation in Arizona, a reservation the size of Connecticut.

Tribal officials estimate that 6.5 percent of reservation residents under 25 are in a gang. That's six times higher than the 1 percent believed to be in gangs nationally.

Police have identified 400 members in the gangs, including one gang classified as a hate group. Authorities say the Red Power gang praises the u Klux Klan and uses swastikas in its graffiti.
