WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2002 The Crow Tribe of Montana is undergoing major changes in law enforcement. Darren Cruzan, a member of the Miami Nation of Oklahoma, is the new Bureau of Indian Affairs police chief for the reservation. He has ordered more training for officers, asked tribal members to rate the force and created districts to better serve the community. Cruzan is working closely with Senior Special Agent Bob Pease on the changes. They are starting to enforce tribal traffic laws, curb drug and alcohol problems and work with other law enforcement.
